If you are not accustomed to public speaking, making a wedding speech can be very daunting. Conquer your wedding speech nerves with these tips to help you overcome your nervousness and deliver a great wedding speech.

1. Remember that these people are on your side. They are not secretly hoping you will mess up. They are all there because of the bride and groom. They will want to hear your speech and will hope that you will do well.

2. Practice your speech wedding several times before the wedding. The more your practice, the less nervous you will feel on the wedding day. Remember to practice the delivery of your speech as you would naturally speak.

3. Memorize the speech. Even if you use index cards, you will be able to deliver your speech more naturally and with confidence if you have it memorized.
